The Fatal Equation Album
The album containing 18 tracks by COOLSTAR and featured guest singers, entitled FATAL EQUATION - is now available on streaming platforms and for downloading.
The album accompanies the publication of the novel, FATAL EQUATION by Gethyn Jones.
Coolstar is the band/brand name for music producer Gethyn Jones. Gethyn works with fellow producer and engineer Nicholas Bowen. The line-up of the band is determined by each song and its unique requirements.

Fatal Equation tells the story of Ali Kurmi (35) who was cruelly exiled to Portsmouth on the south coast by his domineering father, to protect the family name. He was never asked to return. Now in this thirties, he's forced to work as an unofficial bailiff for his father's property company, a job he detests. The only thing keeping him going is songwriting and DJing.
Ali invests all his cash in recording his songs, in a plan to break into the notoriously unwelcoming music business. His off-beat passion for 70s and 80s music leads him into DJ work on the corporate events circuit, where he meets and is smitten with, a beautiful, older and wealthy woman.
Get The BookHistory: Gethyn Jones was a co-founder of Jugg Music with Brian Hug and the late Nick Hug. They were active during the 1970s and 1980s writing and producing TV sig tunes and incidental music for such shows as the iconic RUNAROUND with comic Mike Reid, (and later, Leslie Crowther) and GOING OUT directed by Colin Nutley. Series, programmes and ads include: Runaround, Going Out, The Flockton Flyer, In Search of Father Christmas, Hey Look That's Me, Noah's Castle, Anneka, Fifth Generation, BBC Radio Solent IDs and more.
